Who am I? In this world we are measured by scale of what we can do with our skills and talents and the brand of our clothing by what we wear, or the status of our finances, or the typ of car we drive or how well we speak in public...and etc. We are measured by this world by how much we can give or take; or by how intellectual we are, and or by the color of our skin and the originality where our own culture comes from. As the saying goes, 'You do not know who you are if you do not know where you came from'.
The things that we do, the things that we are so gifted by, our skills, and I am sure everyone is born with a talent or two or more (it is just a matter of discovering it and living it out)are just part of who we are. And those many talents, or skills, or our jobs that we go do daily are just part of what we DO. It is part of what we do but it does not define the ultimate of who we really are- our true identity.
There are many many countless of curiosity questions running in my head about many things that I would love to discover to awaken more in my limited conscious world. And to walk the journey to go beyond into the deepest wisdom inside the subconsious world. I love to know the thougths of God. All thru my life I have had asked God the common questions that surely many wondered too of our true identity: "Who Am I?" We all have different ways to describe or answer that same question because we all go thru different paths and have different life journeys. I believe each of our life journey we go thru leads to the same goal- defining who you really are and your purpose here.
I find that our background in which our forefathers have taught us all thru the generations of who we really are is just another piece of the puzzle. I value the great teachings of the wise. I believe that we not only define what is part of us by our gifting or what we can offer to this world, but our identity comes from the creator of this universe, God, who created us from the beginning of time. And by knowing that, what does it mean to you personally? Does it feel real? Do you live by what you believe?
To me when I believe that God is love, then I am loved always by Him and the rest are details. That was it! That was my truest identity that knowing I am always loved!!! I am always loved and the rest are secondary details, and the rest will follow. I am always loved! I do not have to worry or be anxious about anything or what people think of me because I am always loved. I have a choice to choose to believe that 'I am always loved'. To me this is liberating in my spirit, mind and body. To find freedom in it creates a wave effect of happiness and joy in my life that leads to TRUST God more and always. By knowing I am always loved I can choose to have a love attitude towards others... and my behavior reflects by giving or sharing or serving another human being in need. This reflects back again to me to enjoy and experience the essence of love and joy I feel and see in others as well (because by choosing to believe the power of love as my ultimate identity: "I am always loved by GOD!").
This is my findings. This is my discovery. This is my own story. This is my life. This is my journey and it continues to find more. This is my ultimate identity that I AM ALWAYS LOVED!!
Now it's your turn. The stage light is pointing at your life. Ask yourself this question: "Who Am I?"
